The Owego Rotary Club was proud to be part of this year’s Strawberry Festival, helping make one of Owego’s favorite traditions a success.
On Thursday evening, Rotary members volunteered as course marshals for the Strawberry Fest 5K, cheering on runners, directing participants, and helping keep the race safe and organized. Then, on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, Rotarians rolled up their sleeves once again to serve delicious strawberry shortcake to hundreds of festival-goers.

Events like these are about more than volunteering—they’re about bringing people together. Rotary members enjoy working side by side, sharing laughs, meeting neighbors, and giving back to the community that has given so much to them. Whether directing runners or serving desserts, every volunteer helped create the welcoming spirit that makes the Strawberry Festival such a special event.

The Owego Rotary Club extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by for strawberry shortcake or cheered on the 5K runners. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
