There was no April Fooling on April 1st at the Easter Egg Hunt Party hosted by Catholic Charities of the Southern Tier.

Owego Rotarians are dedicated to promoting service and community spirit.

Owego Rotary was one of the organizations invited to set up free activities for the more than 200 children and their families who attended the event in nearby Nichols, NY. In addition to gathering the more than 3,000 eggs spread in the fields, the old fashioned games made for  a full morning of family fun.

Thanks to one of Owego Rotary Club's partners, Tioga County Historical Museum, we were able to provide fun, old-fashioned games for the children - no electronics or screens. Children of every age had a blast taking the challenge to land Frogger on a lily pad and to roll the ball down the twisty and treacherous road at Crazy Driver. We all had so much fun, and it cost families nothing for a full morning of child-centered activities.  We can't wait to do it again next year!
