Welcome to the Canawanna Nature Preserve, a nature preserve on the western end of the village of Owego that the Rotary Club has been restoring and beautifying since 2020. We began with a site besieged by refuse and invasives plants. After a year of general cleanup, our efforts have centered on removal of invasives, introduction of native plants and trees, and we have now moved to increasing trail accessibility for visitors to enjoy nature.
