Tioga Opportunities Inc. staff launched a plan in spring 2024 to plant, maintain and harvest fresh vegetables to supplement the Center’s daily community lunch.
When Owego Rotarians found out that keeping up with the garden maintenance was proving too much for the already overextended staff demands, they offered to take the project over in 2025.
They’ve done that, and also built a little stand that displays the excess veggies from The TOI garden, as well as those donated from other generous gardener’s plots to share with the visitors to the Center!
