Those crafty Owego Rotarians once again brought Valentine's Day spirit to the community lunch and social hour at Tioga Opportunities Community Center. Word must have spread after our first event last year, because participation at least tripled!
Our enthusiastic members provided loads of supplies, ideas, and encouragement for this fun "Make your own Valentine's Day Card" activity. Rotary member Judy Quigley wowed us all with her clever premade card samples. They really sparked the creativity of the participants, as plain paper was repeatedly transformed into personalized Valentine's Day greetings. Everyone had a great time, sharing smiles, laughs and lively conversation along with wielding that special card for that special someone in their lives.
