BIKE TIOGA:

Al thanked Bill Moon for raising $1500 this year which was the goal, compared with the $900 that was raised last year. Help is needed to mark the routes and a sign-up list was passed around.

DICK’S OPEN:

John announced that it starts today. If you working the morning shift, you want to get there around 9:30 AM and between 1:00 and 1:30 PM if you are working the afternoon shift. Our headquarters is at the 16th tee. We will be selling wine, beer, soda, and hot dogs. You need to register at the volunteer entrance. Your name will be there. You can stay for the whole day if you want and watch golf. The golf will end between 4:00 and 5:00 PM. There are concerts on Friday and Saturday nights.

PROGRAMS:

Next week we will get to hear from the RYLA students about their experiences. The following week Mike Slavetskas will tell us about stem cell transplants.

Joao told us about his week including graduation and the fact that the principal singled him out to mention. He had handed out thank-you notes including a quote he had heard at one of our meetings.

Annette thanked Mike Ebbers for fixing the box with our badges.

FINES:

Orv fined everyone who missed last week’s program and those who have not signed up to work the Dick’s Open.
