VISITORS AND GUESTS:

BIRTHDAYS:

We hit the jackpot today with Janelle, Mark O’Rourke, Ed and John Jones celebrating.

Mike Ebbers found out the answer to his question and has made a birthday donation to the Club in the amount of his age. Janelle contact Matt to tell him that she found out that Fred “plays” the water glasses during “Jingle Bells”.

We extend our sympathies to Ed Arrington on the death of his mother.

MUSIC:

Carolyn passed out the words and we sang, “God Bless America”.

FINES:

Orv fined those who didn’t know the score of the basketball game within three points. He also complimented Mati for his knowledge of US geography.

PROGRESSIVE DINNER:

Judy explained how this is going to work. She also asked those who are attending to give their $15/person to either Carolyn Wright or Judy. We start at the Arts Council from 5:45 to 6:45 with hors d’oeuvres, then dinner at one of four houses, and dessert at Tioga Trails. Wine will be served at the Arts Council and with the meals. Those whose houses are not being used are asked to bring along hors d’oeuvres to share. Please let Judy or Carolyn know if there are any food restrictions including vegetarian since it is a Friday in Lent.

March 11: Evening meeting with the Owego Jazz Ensemble

STUDENTS:

I just wrote a paper on decision making and must share that I have come across few who are better at rationalizing than Joao and Mati!!!

PROGRAM:

Carole introduced Michael Wheeler – another excellent program organized by Steve. Mike spoke well and knowledgably, is enthused about what he does, and shared information which i suspect most of us did not know.
