Bill Moon reported on Paul who is home recovering from his pneumonia and Steve reported on Mike who has a long way to go, but is progressing as expected.

Matt has 40 tickets – great seats

POOL:

John Spencer reminded us that we have pledged $5,000 per year for two years for the pool. It is open again which is a significant benefit for the community. John is looking for fund-raisers to help off-set our commitment. He is considering a pancake breakfast. We discontinued those years ago when everyone was doing them and we would only raise $200, but John has some innovative ideas. It could be modeled after the Tom Platt breakfasts and local politicians could be involved – perhaps even Teddy Roosevelt. Please share your ideas with John.

PROGRESSIVE DINNER:

The list was passed around to sign-up if you would like to participate, but we had an exceptionally small group today.

PROGRAM:

Laura quizzed us and spoke about the exchange program. Steve shared that Kendra got to meet Wendy’s host sister when she was in Australia last summer. Laura also gave us up-dates on a number of our students. Laura also passed out some paperwork which is becoming overwhelming for her. Laura does such a great job with the students, but the paperwork – understandably – has become more involved and more time-consuming. It would be wonderful for someone to set-up and help her with that aspect. In the meantime, we can all fill out the forms and get them back to Laura.
