Death comes to all. But great achievements build a monument which shall endure until the sun grows old. George Fabricius

VISITORS AND GUESTS:

MUSIC:

Carl and Carolyn led us in, “The More We Get Together”

FINES:

All those not going to the Foundation Dinner or working on Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday.

Harry was unable to attend, but he had Maria put in “Happy Dollars” for him. One was for being sponsored into the Club 18 years ago by Jan Pierson.

Orv will be performing with Daphne on December 17. It will be dinner and a show.

STUDENTS:

Laura received a letter from Alfonzo who is doing well.

RAFFLE:

John reminded us that the raffle is next week and we still have many tickets to sell and money to turn in.

CIDER MILL:

Bill Moon won the raffle for the Cider Mill tickets

POINSETTIA SALE:

It is not too early to start thinking about your customers.

INTERACT:

Colin reported that they are participating in the CROP Walk. Many members made contributions. They are also investigating painting the Apalachin Library. And they are contributing to Heffer International, which will send an animal to a third world country for them.

PROGRAM:

Laura introduced Joao (who she told us sings quite well). He told us about his country, the capital (Brazilia which was developed in 1962), the flag and its symbolism, the national dances in different regions, how they use as much ethanol as gas, and how they do not import any gas. He did a wonderful job.
