We had catch-up on what is going on in our life.

• Judy had a nice Easter. Her mother came to celebrate Easter with Judy and her family. She came even though she is afraid of cats.
• Jody had her daughter home from Wyoming. She came to purchase a car. Then her daughter drove back to Wyoming. Jody is looking forward to spring.
• Florence and her husband took a 10 day trip to Florida 1262 miles by bike. They had only one day of rain. They had a great time. Also everyone knows that their will has been done.
• John 26 years of perfect attendance and this has been made up in 11 countries. He said his life is boring. However, then told us how he was held-up at gun point in LA. In India he had to cross a bridge that was damaged with one side hanging lose. He crossed the bridge in gale force winds and over flood waters to speak to a group of people on the other side. (How boring can you get John?)
• Tim's daughter is getting married in 13 weeks, July 8th. As it gets closer the reality is starting to set in. Some family members that are coming will stay for 2 weeks. This is the first time that all the family will be together in 25 years. He is looking forward to having a good time.
• Priscilla had a good Easter. Both mothers came to stay over night, (not on the same night) worked better that way. To keep mothers happy Priscilla used the good china not paper plates.
• Ed is happy to feel better for he has been sick 10 days with the flu. (2nd time this year) He is back to work now and is excited that spring is coming. It is a busy time of year and good to see business picking up.
• Merlin is happy to have some success in researching the family tree. He has recently found information about his great grandfather, who was married in 1880 and was a blacksmith in Catatonk.
• Orv visited the Tabor home recently and found that the local paper did an article on the book of memories. They think this book should go national.
• Jeannette flew to Lexington Kentucky last week to attend her uncle's funeral. Jeannette along with two of her cousins were asked to sing at the funeral. They were not really prepared to do this nor had time to practice. After the funeral she asked a family member was it ok? The advice given by the family member was don't quit your day jobs. My uncle was a great guy I know he would have liked it. I know this because he was 90 years old and his hearing was not what it used to be.
